Last weekend over 700 people came out to show that Hip Hop lives in Newark, New Jersey! Thank you to Friends of the Riverfront Park, Newark Office of Film + Television, 211 Media Group, special guests, Nas: Time is Illmatic film producer Erik G. Parker and music executive Faith Newman, all the performers who came out to share their talent, and the people of Newark for making our first Newark Hip Hop Weekend a huge success!
