Come back on Saturday, July 11th for a day long focus on the 5 Elements of Hip Hop featuring a panel discussion about the origins and evolution of the genre with Jeff Billingsley of Cobblestone Multimedia LLC, Martha Diaz, Associate Producer of Nas: Time is Illmatic and Founder and Curator of Hip Hop Education Center, Du “Doitall” Kelly of the Legendary Lords of the Underground and 211 Media Group and hip-hop scholar Dr. JahJah Shakur, and performances in all the 5 Elements (emcee, deejay, b-boy/b-girl, graffiti, & beatbox) and an open mic cypher.
